LessonUp, an EdTech platform, has experienced substantial growth over the past few years. However, the product and tech team faced challenges in recruiting the necessary software engineering talent within the Netherlands. To address this, LessonUp opted to collaborate with a nearshore development team in Portugal, ensuring they could access the expertise needed to continue their expansion.
The 25Friday team carefully evaluated the necessary skills and promptly initiated the recruitment process, including thorough technical assessments, to ensure a swift yet high-quality hiring experience. Initially, the team began with just two developers. However, after three years of a successful partnership, 25Friday now supports LessonUp with a dedicated team of six talented software engineers from Portugal.
Developers
25Friday has given us the opportunity to continue to build our team with highly-skilled and experienced IT professionals. Thanks to their professional way of working on recruiting, hiring, onboarding and developing manpower we have been able to continue our mission to empower every teacher to create the most engaging, joyful, and effective learning moments.
